About Simplified Support
Simplified Support helps parents and carers across the UK who are navigating SEND. That includes EHCP requests and plans, EOTAS, school attendance difficulties and EBSA, appeals and SEND Tribunal preparation.
Meet Jess
Jessica Buckle, MABP
- CBT Practitioner
- IPSEA SEND Law Levels 1–3
- Founder and Director of Simplified Support
- Consultant in SEND, EHCP and social care practice
Jess is the founder of Simplified Support and the person behind every piece of support you book through this site. She works directly with parents and carers on EHCPs, EOTAS, EBSA and school attendance, Annual Reviews, and SEND Tribunal preparation — not as a large agency passing your case to someone else, but as one named person you speak to and hear back from.
Her role is practical and defined: she reads your paperwork, explains what the law says in plain English, helps you prepare your submissions, and writes advice you can use straight away. She does not act as a solicitor, do statutory representation, or take on open-ended casework; instead she gives you focused, one-off help that leaves you better equipped to move forward yourself.
Every Ask Jess answer, every written support package and every evidence review is written personally by Jess — not an AI-generated answer. Nothing on this site is automated decision-making. When you ask Jess a question or book a call, you are hearing from her directly.
If you would like to understand how Jess can help with your specific situation before you pay, you can ask Jess your first question free or book a call with Jess.
Our Shared Mission
We’ve sat in the meetings where our children were misread, watched them mask until they fractured, and held the line through the late-night panic. We didn’t build Simplified Support from a whiteboard. We built it from the inside of a system that was failing the people it was written for — and we built it so no family, school or local authority has to keep working that hard for the basics.
As two neurodivergent parent carers, we know what it costs to translate yourself before anyone will translate the law back to you. That’s the bar Simplified Support is built to meet — for families who need clarity, dignity and a way to be believed; for schools who need tools that work on a Monday morning, not just on paper; for local authorities who need defensible, audit-ready evidence without adding to caseload; and for NHS and healthcare professionals whose advice and contributions shape EHCPs and need to land in a format families and settings can actually use. For funders and commissioners, this is an opportunity to back a delivery partner with first-hand lived experience, full British Psychological Society membership across seven Divisions and Sections, and a live platform already in the hands of the people it was designed for. This is what it looks like when the people who’ve lived the problem are trusted to design the answer.
What this page is
This is the direct booking and instant support side of Simplified Support. You choose one defined piece of help, pay for it, send the information needed or book a time, and receive your support. There is no account to create and no ongoing casework commitment.
How direct support works
- Choose the support that fits your situation.
- Pay securely - one off, no subscription.
- Send the information needed, or pick a time in the diary.
- Get a confirmation with your reference and clear next steps.
Where to start
If your child is struggling to attend school, start with EBSA and school attendance support. For assessments, appeals or Annual Reviews, see EHCP support. If school is not currently accessible, see EOTAS and out of education support. If you have one clear question, Ask Jess or book time with Jess.
What is not included
Direct support is defined, one off help. It does not include ongoing case management, representation at meetings or Tribunal, or contact with your school or Local Authority on your behalf. Full details are in our terms of service.
Doing it yourself
If you would rather build and manage your child’s SEND paperwork yourself with tools and templates, the free digital assistants at www.freesimplifiedsupport.software are designed for exactly that.
