Accessibility Statement
Simplified Support is committed to making Book Simplified Support as usable as possible for every parent and carer, including people with disabilities or those who use assistive technology. This statement explains our approach and how to reach us if something is hard to use.
How we approach accessibility
- Large, readable text and a clear, calm layout with plenty of space.
- Headings and labels that describe what each section does.
- Forms that can be completed using a keyboard alone.
- Colour contrast that aims to meet WCAG 2.2 AA standards.
- No reliance on colour alone to convey information.
What we are working towards
This site is a live, growing service. We continually review the pages, forms and booking journey against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. Where we find something that falls short, we fix it as a priority.
Reporting an accessibility problem
If you find part of this site difficult or impossible to use, please tell us. The quickest way is to contact us or reply to any email from us quoting your reference. We will read what you have said and do our best to fix it or offer a workable alternative, such as providing information in a different format.
Enforcement
If you are not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) at equalityadvisoryservice.com, which advises on the Equality Act 2010.
